BEblog Team Welcome and join us…. Jim, John, Bill, Judy, Tom, Richard (and me, Chuck, on the far right). We’re spearheading the Burns’ mission to BE in Conversation on the topic of temperature measurement in the BioPharma, Food & Beverage and PetroChem industries – and many others.

As an Engineer, I was hesitant to play/participate in what has been coined the blogosphere.  “I’m not a writer,” I convinced myself.  Then a series of experiences presented themselves, and I soon realized the importance of thinking in a more balanced way.

In the book: A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink, I learned the value of activitating the right side of my brain, striving for a balance of logical engineering stuff plus pure, unconstrained creativity. It’s not just for the artists of the world. Six years as a Cub Master challenged and influenced my creative thinking; turning ceremonies into experiences and writing poems for new-leader recognitions.

It’s also been a blast finding ways to unleash more creativity in the custom RTD world.

So I hope you’ll also take the opportunity to explore your creative side (your right brain) on the BEblog and share what you discover!

Our collective responsibility is to engage in good dialog, respect one another’s confidentiality and be professionally balanced. Please trust that your comments on the blog are for that purpose only.
If you offer some brilliance that Burns would like to share in other ways, we’ll only do so with your awareness and concurrence. It’s our statement of integrity.

So whether your interest is about milli-Kelvin, lead-wire color or an impossible temperature measurement application, let’s get chatting and let our creativity shine!
