As a design engineer, Matt joined the Burns family of as one more person inspired and excited to BE creative in tackling the next challenging temperature application.
Matt is a graduate from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology and has several years of custom and semi custom design experience, so his background is right in our sweet spot.
He enjoys playing electric guitar, tinkering with old-style amplifiers, and just to make things interesting, he’s a dirt bike racer. Matt, his wife Linda and son William are long time residents of Minnesota and enjoy the winter snow as well as the summer humidity.
Matt certainly brings a mix of experience and creativity to the Burns Engineering group.

I can’t believe I’ve been here nearly 3 months. I have been spending time in different areas learning the ropes from the many experts here at Burns Engineering, Inc.
I am excited to be here and contribute to Burns Engineering as an industry leader in temperature measurement.
